Primo Powerbite
This crank is awesome. I've had it for about a year and nothing has happened to it. it hasn't broken or bent or nothing like that. only thing is a bunch of scratches that i get from doing crank slides but that's about it. it's really strong and it comes in chrome or black. if u get it in black, in the area where it says PRIMO it starts to where off and u see the chrome under it and it looks sweet. I definitely give it a 5. go buy this crank.

In 2002 primo changed their methodology with the powerbites. initially the pedal bosses were of the same aluminum as the rest of the crank arm. the newer models use cromolly inserts in the threaded part. I've had both. if you have just gotten the old style (sometimes you can get a pair at a good price or have a chance to, go ahead. the pedal spindles will creak after a spell; but there is an easy solution--go down to the hardware store, get locktite; threadlock, and put a little on the spindle threads and threads on crank arms and screw in tight. use a cheater bar on your pedal wrench with finesse and the cranks should be fine. only negatives= if you ride street and grind a lot, aluminum arms show more wear than cromoly. also, sometimes the bulky appearance puts me off my supper. peace.
