These tires are great or awful depending on your criteria.
On the good side these are super, all around tires. I tested them with
over 100 psi and never had a blowout. They rolled and turbined without
a significant loss of speed and they were surprisingly good for
scuffing, even in dusty locations. They are also quite light.
On the bad side they don't do any one thing extremely well. There are
tires that individually scuff, roll or turbine better than the Lamelos.
Odyssey Elm Street tires equal the all around flatland performance of
Lamelos but weigh more. Another problem associated with the KHE tire
is that they wear down fairly quickly, particularly so in rough parking
lots. I put more wear on them in one day at the queen's gate parking
lot than I did in a month on a basketball court.
Ultimately I'd recommend the Lamelos to beginners who are still finding
their style. Aside from durability I don't see a clear downside to the
KHE Lamelo Tire.
