This is probably the best stem out there for you flatlanders
who aren't into zero off set but want the next closest thing. This stem
extremely light, and clamps down very tight. Be careful, do not over
tighten the stem, use a normal allen key to tighten it, but don't tighten it too
much because you will bend the fork out of whack. This has happened to many
people, (including my self) so make sure you don't over tighten the stem. The
nuts are 5/16 x 1", they're standard so make sure you don't round them off using
a metric allen key. The stem has minimal offset and it clamps right on the fork,
only using 4 bolts to hold it in. It has three parts and is pretty easy to put
together. The stem comes in blue black green and raw. This is one of the more
expensive stems but is well worth it, the unique design and strength is well
worth its money. |
